Battle Frontier Round 1

Here's my entry for the Battle Frontier Round 1 for

Took me a while to finish this. I actually started a week ago and only got the job done today. I'm not that good at drawing Pokemon. I had to watch the anime again to get a good look at their poses and details. Well, it was worth it. Starmie was the easiest to draw, though, and the next easiest was Raichu. I had no idea how to start on Lucario, so I decided to draw half of his face just to give him an air of mystery.

CHARACTER DESCRIPTION

An endearing young girl who distances herself from others, Jetlyn is known to others as 'JC'. JC has layered honey blonde hair that flows down to the middle of her back. She has pink highlights on her bangs. Her eyes are emerald-blue in color. She's average in height and slim in figure.

She seems cold and rather unsociable, but she has a kind heart which she refuses to show openly. When others lose their heads, she always manages to stay cool. She is very crafty and cunning, and prefers to accommodate than to confront. Despite her cute appearance, she is an extremely cautious yet brave person. Even though she's from a rich family, she is neither bratty nor spoiled. Although she is known to be an intelligent girl, she is very lazy and quiet.

She is also known to excel in some outdoor sports and likes spending her time messing around with Photoshop. She constantly updates her blog with her PPhone and loves writing stories.

BACKGROUND

Much to her dismay, JC was sent to Pokemon Tech (also known as Pokemon Technical School) by her parents to study Pokemon and on how to become a great trainer. She truly wishes to go on a journey and collect badges, but decided not to voice out her desires because she cares about her parents' decisions. After graduating from Pokemon Tech School as the top 9th student, she is eligible to compete in the Pokemon League Competition at Indigo Plateau. But she felt that her skills weren't enough for the competition, thus she decides to go on a journey to collect badges and gain experience.

She managed to collect all eight badges from the eight official gyms in Kanto in approximately 70 days. Due to her humbleness, she prefers not to show off her badges to others.

When the Pokemon League competition came up, she didn't hesitate to join this time. She made it all the way to the Best 4 and lost in a close match against a fellow trainer from Vermilion City. After the competition, she realizes that there is still a lot to learn, so she ventures into the world.

And then she came across the Battle Frontier. A new journey starts!

1. P-Phone (Pokemon Phone)
> A slide-up phone, this is an invaluable tool for JC. Given to her by her uncle, who is an inventor, it acts as a Pokedex and PokeGear at the same time. It also has WiFi and a camera with built in flash. It is water resistant as well.

2. VS Seeker
> This tool allows JC to locate other trainers with the same tool and ask them for a Pokemon Battle.
